Casa Diligencias

Located in the heart of San Miguel this masterpiece of colonial architecture is a relic. In an austere baroque style, this two-story house has two patios, nine rooms, and seven balconies overlooking two of the main streets of the historic center, including two commercial spaces on the main level, one of them with a second access to the property from the street to the second patio.

For more than three centuries it has retained its original structure distribution on both architectural and decorative elements that only a few constructions of that time have to  date, like the stone and masonry, wooden doors and windows with beautiful wrought iron-work, clay tiles floors, and the original hydraulic system.

Because of its location, this house has beautiful views of the main churches and from its seven balconies, you can watch from a unique perspective the traditional events that take place in this city like parades, processions, and popular celebrations. At the roof, you could build an amazing sunset roof terrace with 360° views.

Full of history in every corner, Casa de las Diligencias was built in the 17th century. Its main purpose was to store high-end products, accommodate merchants, and keep carriages safe.
